Who am I?
Growing up in the cold, wet, north of England, I spent a lot of time dreaming of faraway sunnier places and ponies. When I discovered both, along with a whole load of other things, could be found between the covers of a book, my life changed forever.
Later, I headed south, picked up the perfect husband along the way, and together we volunteered to work in Africa. There we discovered a love of exotic places and a dislike of 9-5 work. Afterward we spent a number of years travelling (whenever possible) intermingled with working (whenever necessary.) Eventually we stumbled upon a remote area in the mountains of southern Spain and the small almond farm we now call home.
I spend my days reading, writing and riding my mare, Gencianna, under the blue Spanish skies—sunshine and ponies. I reckon this is proof that dreams really can come true if you want them enough.

I write as Nina Croft and you can find out more here:

Hi Nicola

Thanks for the welcome.   You have been a busy writer, puts me to shame.  I am hoping to read some of everyone's work, perhaps I will concentrate on one member at a time.  (I will post some of my writing soon, (when I learn how to do so with a little guidance from my buddy.)

Your home sounds wonderful, I love old properites in the countryside.
